You can become a member by either joining online or downloading an application form and posting it to us.
We welcome new members and joining us is free and open to voluntary and community organisations (general members) and individuals (individual members) who share our commitment to a strong, influential and thriving voluntary sector.
We are all stronger and more informed by working together strategically and practically and it makes us better able to serve the people we are working with.
Joining is simple and gives you:
- Support for your organisation in the form of help from our Volunteer Centre
- Free listing in Worthing Voluntary and Community Directory
- Support to help you develop your service or project including applying for funding, training, networking and capacity building.
- Access to resources: Colour photocopying and laminating at reduced costs, free use of digital projector, laptops, hot-desks, display boards and overhead projector.
- Free use of WCVS library of information
- Regular informative newsletters and e-bulletins.
- Participation in the WCVS networks, the Worthing Voluntary Sector Forum , Charity Fairs, Volunteers Week events and links to our projects (e.g. Health Trainers etc)
- Ability to nominate for, be nominated for and vote in elections for the WCVS Board of Directors and sub committees
- The ability to have your say on matters affecting the community and the voluntary sector and be involved in making a difference.
