Visit the official West Sussex EESI Project website

The EESI Project originally began it's life in 2003 as a partnership project between CVS Arunwide, Worthing CVS, Chichester CVS and Selsey Resources Centre funded through the Single Regeneration Budget.
From
January 2008 it is funded through the Big Lottery Basis fund to offer support to voluntary organisations across the whole county and will be led by CVS Arunwide in partnership with all of the Councils for Voluntary Service in West Sussex.

Victoria Sturdy is the EESI Development Worker based at Worthing CVS covering Worthing and Adur. Victoria can help you build your capacity and your group, assisting you to agree your goals and plans and find resources.

The EESI Project can provide experienced, reliable and confidential help to any type of voluntary group including on all of the following:

  • Organising and developing publicity, photocopying and laminating
  • Finding and applying for funding
  • Finding meeting rooms
  • Contacting other groups and support networks
  • Establishing your aims & objectives
  • Assistance with establishing procedures, policy documents and structures
  • Answers to many other questions about legal, charity, personnel and financial matters

Also this free and confidential support service can offer your group a health check and assistance with training, linking you to the nearest Volunteer Centre so that you can register your opportunities for volunteering.
