Supporting Volunteers Day, 22nd February 2012, Billingshurst Village Hall, 9.15am – 4.00pm. A programme of workshops and the opportunity to reflect on the volunteering environment more generally and join in a lively debate.

More and more of us are relying on volunteers to deliver our services, and demand for those services is increasing, so it is even more critical that you attend this annual event.

The workshops programme is:

  • Designing & marketing your volunteer opportunities effectively
  • Engaging ex-offenders in volunteering
  • Measuring the impact of your volunteers
  • Managing highly skilled volunteers
  • Working with young volunteers
  • Handling difficult volunteer situations
  • Supporting volunteers with mental health needs
  • Motivating your volunteers

Guild Care is hosting a Catwalk Fashion Show with Catwalk Connections to raise money for its Healthy Living Programme for older people and carers.

The Catwalk presents leading high street brands which are available to purchase at bargain prices!

The evening offers local ladies the opportunity to browse and try on what they have seen on the catwalk and purchase well known high street names at fabulous discounts.

There will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes including a dinner for two at the Burlington hotel, vouchers for Rush Hair and a David Lloyd centre weekend family pass.

So come along with friends, enjoy a glass of wine and a fabulous evening of fashion all in aid of a good cause.
