Alcohol Brief Intervention Training for Frontline Voluntary Sector Staff Working with Adults

Content of session:

• Overview of alcohol health issues and recognising different levels of drinking.

• Introduction to skills needed to carry out a brief intervention.

• Local support and referral arrangements.

Certificates of attendance will be awarded. Tea and Coffee provided

• Thursday 23rd February 2012 – 9.30-12.30 - Crawley Library

(MAX 20 People) Southgate Avenue,Crawley, RH10 6HG.

• Thursday 23rd February 2012 – 2pm-5pm – The Yews Community Centre,

(MAX 20 People) 55 Boltro Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 1BJ.

• Wednesday 29th February 2012 - 1.30pm-4.30pm – The Wellbeing Annex,

(MAX 10 People) Bognor Regis Town Hall, Clarence Road, Bognor Regis, PO21 1LD.

• Wednesday 7th March 2012 - 09.30-12.30 – WRVS Chesham House,

(MAX 20 People) South Street, Lancing, BN15 8AJ.

Places will be offered on a first come first served basis – closing date for applications Wednesday 9th February 2012 ( un filled spaces after this date will be offered to wellbeing hub staff)
