Financial Controller Voluntary
Financial Controller: Voluntary. 5 / 6 days per month.
Central and South Sussex Citizens Advice Bureau; which comprises advice centres in Burgess Hill, Crawley, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Horsham,
Lancing, Worthing and Shoreham are looking to recruit a volunteer Financial Controller.
The Charity has grown considerably in the last 2 years following 2 successful mergers, and now there is a need to bring in a Financial Controller. The role involves timely and accurate reporting of financial information, forecasting and monitoring of cash flow with the support of finance staff members.
Key responsibilities include
- Prepare / review the monthly management accounts
- Forecasts and Cash flow
- Internal controls
- Statutory reporting
The preferred candidate will be a qualified Accountant and experience of using Quickbooks would be highly desirable. However, qualified by experience candidates will also be considered. You will be an exceptional communicator able to engage with senior finance and non-finance professionals alike as well as the external auditors, whilst your technical finance and IT skills will also be of the highest level.
