Northbrook College are offering this course FREE to Voluntary and Community Groups. This is a distance learning course where candidates will be expected to progress through a portfolio training. Our assessors will spend approximately 6 hours over a period of four weeks guiding and supporting the candidates to completion.

Suitable for learners with some awareness of this area who want to develop their knowledge to aid their employment opportunities and fo r those in employment as part of their continuous professional development.

There aren't any specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification.
What will I gain from this course?
The QCF Level 2 course has a qualification credit value of 13. The qualification aim is to:

- Highlight how stereotyping and labelling affect individuals and groups
- Outline the effects of prejudice and discrimination
- Examine the rights and responsibilities of individuals and groups
