Social care dementia Common Core Principles workshops 2012

Skills for Care in partnership with Skills for Health are offering free workshops to assist people leading and supporting the workforce who are working with people who have dementia.

There are two different events that will run concurrently:

one by Skills for Care for social care managers and training leads.
one run by Skills for Health and Skills for Care aimed at health and social care managers who work in integrated settings.

Workshops for social care managers and training leads

These workshops are aimed at social care managers and training leads who want to support their teams to deliver high quality care to people with dementia. The content of the workshops is based on good practice workforce development, and utilises the good practice outlined in the Common Core Principles for supporting people with dementia - click here to access the principles.

Workshops for health and social care managers who are working in integrated settings.

The integrated workshops are aimed at health and social care professionals who are working across both health and social care settings. Attendees would benefit from both health and social care perspectives of other workshop attendees.
