Our Projects

A key part of our committment to Worthing is to help identify and address unmet need in the community and projects are one of the ways we do this. In addition to heping others to start new groups and activities, we also host, develop and manage projects. These can be as 'pilots', on a time-limited basis or for longer periods.

Projects that are developed by us are part of the WCVS team, contributing toward our understanding and knowledge of community needs and supporting community well-being.  Where a service developed by us can be shown to have a sustainable future independent of us we will help it to become independent' or we may seek out a more suitable 'host'.

Projects that are developed by us in partnership with exisitng groups but which already have their own identity can retain that identity even whilst 'under our umbrella'.
