Introducing Worthing Volunteer Centre
Worthing Volunteer Centre is part of Worthing CVS and is accredited by Volunteering England.
We can help you find a volunteer place and we help voluntary groups and charities to find volunteers.
We also welcome volunteers who might be able to help us in our own work.
Worthing Volunteer Centre;
- is a gateway for you to a wide range of voluntary opportunities
- helps you to work out what interests you and what will suit you
- helps you to explore what you might gain from volunteering and what might be expected of you
- offers volunteer involving organisations a simple way to help them promote their volunteer opportunities and recruit new people
- helps develop volunteering good practice and volunteering policies
- helps to develop new volunteering opportunities and projects and link them to other forms of CVS support such as training courses and information about funding.
Become a volunteer
There is a lot to choose from if you want to be a volunteer. You may want to use your existing skills or develop new ones.

Once you have found something that interests you please fill out the Online Volunteer Registration Form or download a paper copy and return it to us the Volunteer Centre at Colonnade House, Warwick Street, Worthing, BN11 3DH
We will then contact you to arrange a chat and get you volunteering! We are open on Monday, Tuesday and 1/2 day Wednesday. If you do not hear from us immediately please bear with us; we try to respond to all enquiries within ten working days.
It is always best to ring us first for an appointment before calling in.

If you are an organisation looking for volunteers you must register with the volunteer centre first before you can register any opportunities We will then contact you about advertising your positions.
Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum
Do you recruit or support and co-ordinate volunteers?
Why not come along to the quarterly get together of the Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum where many people who do this work gather, network and share experience?
We also organise joint marketing events and learn together about good practice in volunteering, volunteers and the law and how to offer good support to volunteers to benefit them and your organisation. Contact us for more details.
