Our Services

Worthing CVS exists to help voluntary, community and charitable organisations and those wishing either to start them or work with them especially where this will help to meet community needs.

 

At Worthing CVS you will find:

  • The Worthing Voluntary Sector Forum: a quarterly meeting over lunch to network, share information, debate and respond to key issues
  • Worthing Volunteer Centre: to help you find a volunteer role and to help voluntary organisations find volunteers
  • Development support for your group or organisation including funding and policy advice
  • A source of information : newsletters, ebulletins, briefings, and consultations
  • Equipment and resources to use including photocopying, a meeting room and display boards
  • Health Trainers who will come and talk to your group/workplace/staff meeting about healthy lifestyle options or set up drop-ins in your area
  • Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum: quartlery gathering of people who recruit, train and support volunteers in a variety of voluntary organisations
  • Events and opportunities to promote your work
  • Training and learning opportunities and courses
  • The opportunity to join ius and become a member, nominate and stand for our Board.
