One-to-One Support Sessions

It is good to talk as they say and sharing an issue, proposal or idea can help you identify your next steps and opportunities.

We give support and assistance to any charity, voluntary or community group including social enterprises, to staff members or volunteers on any issue connected to the organisation, it's mission and its work. We can usually offer an objective view and often practical support to help you think through your ideas, situations or plans. We have access to a lot of information and experience plus a full contacts book which is always useful!

One to One Sessions

If you would like a support session please complete our development form and return it to us, we can then make an appointment for you based on your needs.

There is no blueprint for how to run a voluntary organisation whether it’s a large well-funded and staffed charity, a community interest company or a small volunteer-led community group. There is lots of advice on the Internet, many organisations who will advise you (some of whom may charge you a fee) and various books and guidance manuals you can buy. We do not advise against any of these options but  it can be helpful to talk things through before pursuing any one of them.

The chances are that your issue or proposal will be familiar to us and if it is not we can tap into a national network of over 350 Councils for Voluntary Service who willingly share their expertise with us. Our discussion with you and your group is also confidential and not shared with others unless you ask for it to be.
